Because Maroma was created as an intimate Casa in stages over time beginning with just four rooms, then six, etc., the end result is an eclectic and stylish collection, much the same as one would collect fine art. The rooms of Maroma are truly unique spaces, none of which are exactly the same! The shapes, the views, the shade, the brilliance, each room is as unique as the Guests that stay with us. So, as you can imagine, it's no wonder that people who have stayed with us from time to time, have both their favorite rooms as well as areas within the property. As you would expect, our rooms and suites glow with warm hues of rich mahogany and bamboo-filtered light, featuring unique handpainted tiles, soft wool area carpets, original tropical inspired art and handmade furniture from our own workshops. King-size beds with a luxury comfort mattress, baths, some with sunken tubs, provide delicious comfort just steps away from the sparkling turquoise Caribbean Sea and the award-winning beaches of the Mayan Riviera.
