WHERE TIME STANDS STILL
|
We moved along the rustic road, Carved
from the Trees and Mayan lands,
Surreal the feeling I did encounter, The
Jungle vines and quiet sounds.
The road was filled with anticipation, "How
much further?" I did chirp, "Soon Sir" came
back the answer I
felt the city I still carried with me.
And from the Jungle came the Mayans, We
entered Welcomed all in White,
We caught our breath and then surrendered, Calmed
by this delicious sight.
We strolled the Garden brilliant green, We
could not speak, a peaceful Dream,
We came to rest and replenish our Souls, Beside
the Sea, where Time is Still.
